January 4, 2010 -- Elyria Schools and other neighboring school districts are participating in the REACHigher initiative for student academic success.
REACHigher (Lorain County P-16), an educational resource for Greater Lorain County and surrounding communities, puts parents in touch with resources that can help students improve academically and transition to the next level of education.

REACHigher also works with businesses and community organizations to ensure students learn the skills they need for a changing job market.
